Cancellation Policy

AGS Dog Training – Puppy School Policy Welcome to AGS Puppy School. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and productive environment for all participants, we kindly ask that you review and adhere to the following policy guidelines. Eligibility Puppies may attend classes starting two weeks after receiving their final vaccination. Classes are designed for puppies up to 8 months of age at the time of their first session. All puppies must be in good health and current on vaccinations to participate. What to Bring To help your puppy feel comfortable and set them up for success, please bring the following: A flat collar or harness and a fixed (non-retractable) lead. A supply of your own puppy’s treats, to accommodate any allergies or dietary sensitivities. Waste bags and a mat or blanket for your puppy to settle on during class. Training Approach At AGS Dog Training, we believe in building trust and confidence through humane and effective training methods: Positive reinforcement is the primary method used throughout our curriculum. Where appropriate, calm and fair corrective techniques may be applied to encourage desired behaviours. The use of aversive tools or techniques, including but not limited to prong collars, shock collars, or physical punishment, is strictly prohibited. Behaviour & Safety All dogs must remain on-lead and under supervision at all times while on the premises. Any dog displaying aggressive or highly disruptive behaviour may be asked to leave the class in the interest of group safety. This is handled with professionalism and respect. Owners/handlers are fully responsible for the conduct of their dog at all times. Attendance & Cancellations Missed classes are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of reason. In the rare case that AGS Dog Training must cancel a session, a make-up class or credit will be offered. Please arrive promptly and inform us in advance if your puppy is unwell and cannot attend. Photography & Media Photos or videos may be taken during classes for use in AGS Dog Training marketing and educational materials. If you do not consent to the use of your image or your dog’s image, please inform us in writing prior to the commencement of the course. Liability While every effort is made to provide a safe and secure training environment, AGS Dog Training is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to persons, animals, or property that may occur before, during, or after training sessions.
